While Blaze Pizza is not my favorite pizza place in Florida, it does deserve a special shoutout. Unlike other pizza chains, you can get more than a plain veggie pizza without cheese. Instead, blaze offers a large variety of doughs, veggie toppings, vegan chorizo, and of course, Daiya vegan cheese. Of course, you have to remember to tell them to change their gloves and make sure that they use the green-handled pizza cutter. Honestly, this is a close to vegan as you can get, especially since this chain has locations throughout the state.

My favorite is the highrise crust, traditional sauce (ask for the fresh sauce to avoid cheese), Daiya cheese, vegan chorizo, onions, green bell peppers, mushrooms, and basil.

Heather’s all-time favorite is the “vegan margarita” pizza.

Either way you go, at $9.95 a pie, you can’t go wrong!
