Cucina Dania Beach At Dania Pointe
Heather and I try to enjoy a new vegan place or vegan option every Sunday. So, of course, Cucina was on the list! It is conveniently off I-95 and Stirling Rd in the newly built Diane Point.
The restaurant is new and clean, but the staff and owner have no time or respect for Vegans!
Cucina Italiana Dania Beach was an awful experience. Bad service, bad food, and overpriced! We paid $60 for this crap. Vegans Beware!

While we did get a seat immediately, they only had one server who struggled to take orders from all the seated tables. After about 15 minutes, the waiter finally got to us. Unfortunately, he did not know the menu or what vegan meant. This guy should have been our first clue to leave. Nonetheless, we remained patient with the poor guy. Then another 20 minutes later, he brought out a cheese pizza and a vegan pizza.
So we sent the cheese pizza back and tried to enjoy the one vegan pizza they did bring us. Unfortunately, the cook messed up that order and forgot the chili-spiced tofu. How did they fix it? They had the nerve to bring us cold unseasoned tofu.
All in all, I would give this place a negative two-star review!
We paid $60 for bad service, cold tofu, and a 40 min wait.
Even better, the owner didn’t even bother to apologize or fix the order. Instead, we watched as he greeted and talked to every table but ours.
Seriously Cucina, if you are going to treat Vegans this way, take the options off the menu. We deserve better than you!
